AI Content on VibeForge: Disclosure, Labels & Posting Rules
VIBEFORGE / COMMUNITY GUIDE
AI content.
Clear labels. Informed choices.
Your guide to AI disclosure, posting limits, reader controls, and appeals.
AI tools can help people create and share content. VibeForge requires disclosure so readers can understand what they are seeing and choose what appears in their feeds. Repeated AI posting can also lead to account-level posting limits.
THE SHORT VERSION
Disclose AI-generated or AI-assisted posts, respect any limits shown on your account, and use AI Content Controls to manage your preferences or request a review.
01. Disclose your AI content
If you are sharing AI-generated or AI-assisted content, turn on the AI disclosure option in the post composer before publishing. For articles, select AI-generated or AI-assisted in the article editor.
This includes content created or assisted by AI, such as text, images, or other generated media. If you are unsure how the rule applies to a particular post, ask for clarification rather than presenting generated material as entirely your own creation.
Posting through a Page does not bypass the rules. Account restrictions follow the member who publishes the content, not simply the Page owner.
02. Know what the labels mean
AI-generated
The creator disclosed AI use, or authorized moderation staff explicitly confirmed it after review.
Frequently posts AI-generated content
The publishing account has repeatedly shared eligible public AI content within the current policy window. This badge is an informational notice, not a claim that every post from that account was made with AI.
A detector guess or a user report alone is not enough. Only creator disclosure or an explicit staff confirmation counts toward these AI-related account restrictions. Reporting a post does not automatically label or restrict its author.
Public repeat-publisher badges do not reveal private, group, event, or anonymous posting activity. Reader controls also do not reveal the personal identity of someone publishing through a Page.
03. Understand the posting limits
The standard policy counts confirmed or disclosed AI posts in a rolling seven-day window, based on when the posts were published. The following automatic account rules apply to regular members:
0–4 AI posts · NORMAL PUBLICATION
Publish normally. Individual disclosed or confirmed posts can still carry an AI label.
5–9 AI posts · WARNING
Acknowledge the disclosure policy before posting again.
10–14 AI posts · POSTING LIMIT
Publish a maximum of five times per rolling 24 hours.
15+ AI posts · STAFF REVIEW
New posts need staff approval before other users can see them. The five-publication limit also applies. Stories and live broadcasts are unavailable while pre-publication review is required.
The publication cap is account-wide: once your account is limited, it applies to both human-created and AI content, including supported Page publications, shared posts, articles, and Stories. Posts submitted for review count toward the cap; editing a post does not provide a way around an existing restriction.
A rolling window does not reset at midnight or at the start of the week. Older activity drops out as time passes, so automatic restrictions can ease when your count falls below a threshold. Staff decisions can have a separate expiry date.
Administrators and moderators are exempt from automatic account restrictions. Their disclosed or confirmed AI content can still carry individual AI labels.
04. Undisclosed content & restrictions
Three staff-confirmed undisclosed AI posts in the seven-day window can trigger pre-publication review sooner, even if your total AI post count is below 15.
Authorized staff may also impose a temporary posting suspension with an explanation and an expiry date. This is a staff decision, not an automatic consequence of reaching an AI post count. During a suspension, posting and supported post editing are blocked.
Disclosing AI use does not exempt content from VibeForge's other community, privacy, or safety rules.
05. Make your feed your own
Open AI Content Controls to manage these choices:
- Hide confirmed AI-generated content: Enable the option and save your preference to filter labelled AI content from supported feeds.
- Mute a publishing account: Open AI content controls on an eligible labelled post, then select Mute this author. This can also hide non-AI posts from the same publisher, including supported Page posts.
- Undo a mute: Return to AI Content Controls and remove the relevant mute.
These choices personalize your viewing experience. They do not delete someone else's content or impose an account restriction.
06. Check your status or appeal
- Open AI Content Controls. You can also find links in your Privacy or Moderation settings and in applicable posting notices.
- Review your current stage, AI post count, and any staff-provided reason or expiry date.
- If acknowledgement is required, read the disclosure policy and select the acknowledgement button before posting again.
- If you believe a label or restriction is incorrect, explain what should be reviewed. Include the relevant post IDs or links and helpful evidence, then select Submit appeal.
- Return to the controls page to check your appeal status and staff response.
Appeals must be between 10 and 2,000 characters. You cannot submit another appeal while one is pending, or within 24 hours of your previous submission. An appeal does not automatically lift a restriction or guarantee a particular outcome.
Account restrictions, post labels, and approval are separate decisions. Staff can correct a mistaken AI confirmation. Approving a held post does not remove its AI label, and clearing a label does not automatically release a post that is still awaiting approval.
Your content. Your choices.
Review your account status, customize your feed, or ask staff to review a decision.
Check the current settings: This guide describes the standard policy. Administrators can adjust thresholds and account-specific decisions. The settings and status displayed in AI Content Controls are the current reference for your account.
Our goal: Clear disclosure, informed reader choices, and a community where original voices remain easy to find.
