Majorie Taylor Greene scolds reporter for basic questions on Iran: Im warning you right now
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) blew up at a reporter for asking basic questions about her decision to speak out against the presidents strikes on Iran and she was so proud of her behavior that she posted a video of the moment. I just ripped a reporter for his attempt to smear me, lie about me, and push a fake narrative that I dont support the president, Greene wrote on X. Heres what I had to say to him. Related J.K. There is no break, there is no split, there is no lack of support, she declared as her voice became increasingly hostile. She then said that any claim there is a break between her and the president is a narrative or a lie that youre creating or someones asking you to create. The reporter remained calm and then asked another softball question about whether anyone asked her not to run for Senate. She responded that she is now perceiving the interview as more of an attack piece on me.I think its absolute bullsh*t, and I am going to completely reject it. Im warning you right now, youre going to be spreading lies about me, youre putting out a complete narrative about me that is not true, and Im warning you not to do this. She emphasized her support for the president and said, Im also my own person with my own opinion, and I can speak out and say I am against being involved in foreign wars. Theres nothing wrong with me saying that Im against this Its okay for me to say things like that, and this is America, where were allowed to have different opinions. The reporter then asked if she had spoken with the president directly about Iran. Greene somehow interpreted this as confrontational. I dont have to answer any more of your questions because I am sick and tired of your narrative, and Im calling it out as complete and total bullsh*t. So were done. At that, she hung up the phone. The reporters narrative seemed merely to be that Greene had publicly spoken out against the presidents strikes in Iran, and he wanted to know more. Greenes interpretation of the interview as hostile seems completely off base from what the video depicts, though her decision to post it means she fully stands by the claim. Im GenX. Ive watched our country go to war in foreign lands for foreign causes on behalf of foreign interests for as long as I can remember. I was in 10th grade when Desert Storm started and my father before me was sent to Vietnam, another senseless foreign war.America is $37 TRILLION in debt and all of these foreign wars have cost Americans TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS of dollars that never benefited any American.American troops have been killed and forever torn apart physically and mentally for regime change, foreign wars, and for military industrial base profits.
