Nature, Published online: 14 January 2026; doi:10.1038/d41586-025-04164-4Fully stretchable organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been limited by poor efficiency, in part because their elastic-polymer components hinder the harvesting of triplet-state quasiparticles that can be converted into light-emitting states. Fully stretchable OLEDs with unprecedented efficiencies have been developed that recycle triplets in an elastomer-tolerant manner.
