GAYETY.COMDemi Lovato Teases Sultry New Single Fast The First Solo Release in Three YearsDemi Lovato is back and shes coming in fast. The multi-talented pop star and LGBTQ+ icon has officially launched her return to solo music with a steamy preview of her new single, aptly titled Fast. The track marks Lovatos first solo release in three years, and judging by the tease she dropped this week, its a high-energy, sensual anthem thats ready to dominate summer playlists and dance floors everywhere.Lovato, 32, sparked fan frenzy last week by wiping her Instagram feed, a telltale sign in todays pop world that something big is coming. She followed it up with a series of provocative images and audio snippets that culminated on Tuesday, July 15, with a tantalizing taste of Fast, which blends house-inspired beats with seductive, love-drenched lyrics. The accompanying video teaser shows Lovato walking alone through a moody, moonlit cityscape, her hands trailing over her chest as she moves confidently and sensually a visual thats as bold as the lyrics themselves.A Visual and Sonic ReinventionLovatos return is more than just a song its a full-on aesthetic reawakening. Her Instagram reboot began with a sultry image of her sprawled on the floor in a backless black dress and signature red-bottom Louboutins, staring seductively over her shoulder. Im not so sure Ive ever felt like this before, she captioned the post lyrics, as it turns out, from the upcoming single. In the days that followed, Lovato shared additional visuals, including a video of herself singing over a bubbling electronic beat and a snapshot of her wearing an oversized gray suit jacket a nod to the gender-fluid fashion statements shes been known for in recent years. Another caption teased, I cant deny, it feels so right. The carefully curated rollout signals a bold new chapter for Lovato, whose artistic identity has evolved in tandem with her personal life and advocacy work. From Rock Rebel to Dance Floor DivaLovatos last studio album, Holy Fvck, released in 2022, saw the singer embracing a grittier rock sound as she navigated themes of religious trauma, substance recovery, and sexual freedom. That album debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and was widely praised for its raw honesty and sonic edge. But now, shes switching gears and leaning into something more sensual and celebratory. In a 2024 interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lovato hinted at her evolving sound, telling Fallon she was working on love songs and sexy songs. At the time, she was preparing to marry musician and longtime partner Jordan Jutes Lutes. The couple tied the knot in May 2025 in a private ceremony in California.Queer, Confident, and UnapologeticLovatos identity as a queer, nonbinary artist has played a major role in shaping both her public persona and her music. In 2021, she came out as nonbinary and began using they/them pronouns, later clarifying in 2022 that she also felt comfortable using she/her pronouns.Throughout her career, Lovato has used her platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, mental health awareness, and addiction recovery often sharing her own story in the hopes of helping others.Fast seems to channel a different kind of empowerment: one rooted in desire, confidence, and the freedom to explore sensuality without apology. For Lovato, who has never shied away from being candid about her journey, the tracks sultry energy feels both earned and exhilarating.Love in the Air and in the StudioLovatos new era comes with support from someone who knows her best her husband, Jutes. The Canadian singer-songwriter co-wrote several tracks on Holy Fvck and has remained a creative collaborator throughout their relationship. While its unclear whether he had a hand in Fast, the themes of longing and intimacy certainly feel personal. Fans have speculated that the new song may be inspired by Lovatos real-life romance, which has been anything but low-key.The couple frequently share sweet (and steamy) photos from their life together including recent images from their beachside honeymoon. In June, Lovato posted a carousel of sun-drenched pics captioned simply, Happily ever after.Whats Next?As of press time, no official release date has been announced for Fast, and a spokesperson for Lovato has not responded to requests for further comment. Its also unknown whether the single will be part of a larger project such as an EP or full album but fans are already buzzing with anticipation. If Fast is any indication, Lovato is preparing to launch a new musical chapter that blends euphoria, empowerment, and unapologetic sensuality. Its a sonic shift that not only reflects her personal growth, but also reaffirms her place as one of pops most dynamic and fearless queer voices.Whether on the dance floor or in front of the camera, Demi Lovato is clearly moving with purpose. And shes moving fast.Source0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.PRIDE.COMMissing lesbian Amy Bradley's ex reads haunting message in a bottle written before she vanishedNetflix's new true crime docuseries, Amy Bradley is Missing, has left viewers captivated and devastated over the 27-year-old mystery, but there's one story in particular that's really been tugging at heartstrings. The docuseries tells the story of 23-year-old Amy Bradley, who mysteriously vanished in the middle of the night while on a cruise with her family. There have been alleged sightings in the vicinity in the decades that followed, but ultimately, nobody knows what happened to her if she was kidnapped and might still be alive, if she fell overboard, or even if she committed suicide. In the third and final episode, Bradley's ex-girlfriend Mollie McClure makes an appearance, sharing the story of how they initially met as young teenagers at basketball tryouts. They grew close in school, went their separate ways during college, and reunited after graduation when they discovered they had both come out during those years apart."It felt like... finally," McClure recalled of the night they first kissed.Although she says they were committed to making long distance work while they started their post-college lives, in January 1998, Bradley confessed to kissing someone else. She insisted it meant nothing, but it led to the two taking some time apart to figure things out. During that time, McClure wasn't answering Bradley's calls, so Bradley began writing her letters instead. One of those letters was a message in a bottle.Dated February 24, 1998 exactly one month before Bradley's disappearance the letter offered unrestrained apologies, begged for forgiveness, and featured haunting phrases that felt like unfortunate foreshadowing."I feel like there is an ocean between us. Like I am on a desert island waiting for you to rescue me," Bradley wrote. "A message in a bottle, my only hope. I miss you, Mollie. Save me please."It was signed, "Stranded, Amy."McClure was emotional as she recounted their story and read the letter on screen, and even moreso when she recalled their final meeting after she had received the letter, but before Bradley left for her cruise.During that visit, she said, they'd made plans to see each other upon Bradley's return, and McClure was left feeling confident that they were going to try to make their relationship work."The convenience of the metaphor is ripe for misunderstanding," she said of the message in a bottle. "It could suggest suicide, but I don't connect with it in that way. For me, I read a love letter. It is a love letter."Amy Bradley is Missing is now available on Netflix.0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews

GAYETY.COMTom of Finland Foundation Launches First Group Show Spotlighting Queer Myth and MischiefThe Tom of Finland Foundation is bringing together over 60 LGBTQ+ artists from around the world for its first-ever group exhibition, FXLK PLAY: Mythmaking, Devotion, and Mischief. Opening September 13 at Long Hall in West Hollywoods Plummer Park, the show pays tribute to the Foundations trailblazing Artist-in-Residence (A-i-R) program and the erotic legacy of TOM House in Echo Park. The exhibition, which runs through October 12, transforms the gallery into a lush, immersive environment inspired by the archives and aesthetics of the legendary artist Tom of Finland. Curated by Jamison Edgar, FXLK PLAY captures the rebellious, sensual, and spiritual essence of queer creativity, all while honoring the artists who have lived and created within the walls of TOM House over the past 15 years.A Celebration and a Defiant ActFor Edward Cella, CEO of the Tom of Finland Foundation, the timing of this debut group show isnt just about celebration, its a necessary cultural response. As we celebrate over 40 years of this work, were also looking toward the next forty, asking what the future of Toms legacy can and should be, Cella told Gayety. Were living through a time of increased censorship and rollback of queer and creative freedoms. This exhibition is both a celebration and a defiant actamplifying artists who are shaping a more liberated and inclusive future. The opening day features remarks by Cella, a keynote by Edgar, a panel with artists-in-residence, and a public performance and reception from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibit is free and open Thursdays through Sundays with docents on site.Untitled #10, 2021. Colored pencil on paper. Photo: POL ANGLADARich, 2008/2018, 2008Chromogenic color print. Photo: PHUC LEMythmaking, Devotion, and MischiefAs the name suggests, FXLK PLAY explores themes central to queer experience: imagination, intimacy, and irreverence.Tom of Finland created a visual mythology that has shaped queer consciousness for generations, Cella said. The artists in this show respond to that myth while forging their own vision. Devotion describes the deep bond between artist, archive, and community. And then theres mischief, because these artists are disruptors. They provoke dialogue and reorient how we see the world. The show is organized into four thematic sections:House of Gods mines the Foundations massive archive, which includes over 1,000 works by Tom and 8,000 by other queer artists.Pleasure Park explores how desire shapes physical space, drawing inspiration from TOM Houses gardens and intimate moments.Skeletons in the Closet tackles taboo, kink, race, and gender featuring a listening station with reflections from past residents.DOM TOM honors Tom of Finlands legacy of erotic resistance, showcasing contemporary artists pushing those boundaries further.Smoke No. 3, 2021Archival digital print. Shorter Jr. and Sir MalicePhoto: Benjamin FredricksonA Living Pantheon of Queer CreativityFounded in 1984, the Foundation has long served as a safe haven for LGBTQ+ artists facing censorship and marginalization. Its Artist-in-Residence program, now in its 15th year, is central to that mission.Artists arrive with a sense of curiosity and leave with a sense of conviction, Cella explained. Many describe it as a second coming outwhere their practice becomes more intimate, bold, and unapologetically queer.More than just a studio, TOM House is a living archive, a sanctuary, and a spark, according to Cella. It invites experimentation without judgment. Artists are free to explore sexuality, identity, and community without constraint.Global Talent and Lasting ImpactThe list of participating artists is expansive, ranging from emerging talent to internationally recognized names like Pol Anglada, who has collaborated with brands like JW Anderson and Moncler, and Stuart Sandford, whose work resides in the Elton John and David Furnish Photography Collection. One of the most powerful outcomes has been witnessing how artists carry the spirit of TOM House back into their own communities, said Cella. The residency becomes a catalyst. It has created an international constellation of queer creatives whose voices amplify the Foundations mission in their own ways.Reframing Eroticism as PowerAt the heart of the show, and the Foundation itself, is a bold assertion: that eroticism is integral to queer identity, not something to be sanitized.Sexuality is inseparable from queer identity. To ask artists to exclude eroticism is to ask them to censor themselves, said Cella. This exhibition creates space for unfiltered expression. Desire is not something to be hidden, its something to be honored.Looking AheadWith the support of the City of West Hollywood and the John Burton Harter Foundation, FXLK PLAY also includes a schedule of public programming and collaborations with local businesses and arts groups.Community is the foundation of our mission, said Cella. These collaborations help us expand access and foster shared purpose. In todays climate, solidarity across institutions is critical.Looking to the future, the Foundation has big plans. Cella outlined goals to expand curatorial programming, increase accessibility to the archives, and ensure TOM Houses physical preservation. Were building a future where the Foundation serves an even broader spectrum of queer identities, he said. How to Get InvolvedThe Foundation welcomes participation beyond gallery visits. From tours and events to volunteering and digital engagement, there are countless ways to support. The Foundation belongs to everyone who sees a part of themselves in Toms work, Cella said. Were here to meet them, wherever they are.Source0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.PRIDE.COMWho are the StudBudz? The basketball duo behind the 72-hour WNBA All-Star livestreamWNBA fans got an unprecedented glimpse into the league's All-Star Weekend thanks to a 72-hour livestream from basketball duo the StudBudz. And if you don't know them by now, you're definitely going to want to change that.Who are the StudBudz?See on InstagramCourtney Williams and Natisha "T" Hiedeman both play for the Minnesota Lynx. Earlier this year, they put their friendship to work in a new way by starting up a Twitch channel called StudBudz, where they've streamed game reactions, casual interviews with other players, or just hanging out. What sets StudBudz apart from any other attempts to cover the WNBA is, of course, that the call is coming from inside the house. Who better to bring fans on a journey into the league than actual WNBA players? It isn't just that Williams and Hiedeman know the game, but they know the players. They've got a perspective that's unrivaledand the fact that they're damn entertaining has certainly played a role in how quickly their channel was growing even before All-Star Weekend."I think that me and Courtney just embrace who we are as people, who we are as athletes," Hiedeman previously told Forbes. "And I think thats kind of where the name came from. For sure, were just two stud buds hanging out."Court WilliamsSee on InstagramWilliams' college career saw her playing for the South Florida Bulls all four years. She was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury in the first round of the 2016 WNBA draft, chosen eighth overall. She was quickly traded to the Connecticut Sun the same year, where she played through the 2019 season. After that, she spent time with the Atlanta Dream, went back to the Connecticut Sun, played a year with the Chicago Sky, and finally landed with the Minnesota Lynx in 2024.Natisha "T" HiedemanSee on InstagramHiedeman joined the WNBA in 2019 after spending her college years playing for the Marquette Golden Eagles in Milwaukee. She was actually initially drafted by the Lynx before getting traded (and waived by) the Sun. After a little more moving around, she ultimately played her first WNBA game with the Sun after all and, like Williams, signed with the Lynx in 2024.StudBudz livestreaming WNBA All-Star WeekendSee on InstagramWilliams was chosen for the All-Star roster, and Hiedeman opted to tag along to help run a 72-hour livestream of the event. That meant they weren't just covering gameplay, but everything going on over the weekend, from parties to hallway chats to hotel room pranks. For fans interested in the sapphic side of the WNBA, that meant a whole lot of relationship theories got confirmed (or as close to confirmed as we can get), and new theories may even have formed. But a lot of the best moments, and what captivated viewers to the point that StudBudz were all anyone was talking about for most of the weekend, were just players and other WNBA figures being themselves, cutting loose, and having a great time with their pals. The WNBA didn't need humanizingfans have long been invested in the people behind these gamesbut it did offer a deeper dive and a more intimate look behind the curtain than we ever could have hoped for.0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews
