The relationship is a part of my life, but it doesn't define my life."With so much political unrest targeting the LGBTQ+ community today, Lambert hopes that her voice can inspire others to find their purpose and realize that they're not alone in these challenging times."I just want people to be able to access their most authentic, honest selves. I honestly think it is a privilege to be able to access your most honest self. I feel like the album covers the whole gambit of that, along with the political messaging.
