Fight back!The transphobic group, The Lesbian Project, says that it represent[s] the rights and interests of lesbians in the UK [and] highlights and champions the experiences, insights and sensibilities of lesbians in all their diversity. However, Pink News reports that the group mostly claims that lesbians are being silenced and erased from society by trans people and minor-attracted persons (pedophiles) in the rainbow coalition. To be clear, pedophiles are not a part of the LGBTQ+ community acronym, despite claims to the contrary by social conservatives and anti-LGBTQ+ groups. Their rhetoric echoes that of transphobic conservative groups who claim that trans women are a threat to girls and women.
