Protecting Minors on Vibeforge

At Vibeforge, the safety of our community — especially our younger members — is a top priority.

Accounts belonging to users under the age of 18 will now be clearly identified:

  • Their profile page will display: “Minor until MM/DD/YYYY” (the date they turn 18).
  • On their posts, a visible “(Minor)” label will appear next to their name.

This transparency is designed to help adults exercise appropriate judgment when interacting on the platform.

Expectations for Adults (18+)

If you are 18 years of age or older, you are expected to use appropriate restraint, maturity, and discretion when communicating with minors on Vibeforge.

Any inappropriate direct communication with a minor — including but not limited to sexual content, solicitation, grooming behavior, exploitation, or boundary-crossing conversations — will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including permanent account termination.

Depending on the seriousness of the offense, Vibeforge may report such conduct to appropriate law enforcement agencies for investigation and possible criminal prosecution.

Adult Images & Content Policy Reminder

All users — regardless of age — must comply with Vibeforge’s rules regarding adult images and explicit content. Content that is sexually explicit, exploitative, suggestive toward minors, or otherwise violates our community standards is strictly prohibited.

Posting, sharing, requesting, or transmitting explicit material involving a minor — or attempting to solicit such material — will result in immediate account termination and may be referred to law enforcement.

Even lawful adult content must comply with Vibeforge’s platform guidelines and may be restricted or removed if it violates our Terms of Service. Users are responsible for understanding and following these rules at all times.

Applicable Federal & State Laws

In the United States, several laws govern online interactions involving minors, including:

  • 18 U.S. Code § 2422 – Prohibits coercion or enticement of a minor for illegal sexual activity.
  • 18 U.S. Code § 2423 – Addresses transportation or travel involving minors for unlawful sexual purposes.
  • 18 U.S. Code § 2251 – Criminalizes sexual exploitation of minors.
  • 18 U.S. Code § 2252 – Criminalizes possession, distribution, or production of child sexual abuse material.
  • Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230 & related provisions) – While offering platform protections, it does not shield individuals from criminal liability.
  • Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) – Governs the collection of personal information from children under 13.

Additionally, state laws — including those in Oregon — impose criminal penalties for online luring, sexual misconduct with minors, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Many states also enforce strict mandatory reporting and cybercrime statutes.

Violations may result in felony charges, sex offender registration requirements, imprisonment, and other severe penalties.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Vibeforge maintains a zero-tolerance policy for exploitation, grooming, harassment, or predatory behavior involving minors.

If you are an adult:
Think before you message.
Respect boundaries.
Protect young users.

If you see suspicious behavior, report it immediately through our reporting tools.

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and legally compliant community for everyone.
