The two met the same year Crossley lost his first gay love after coming out.The part-time chef and medium is from El Salvador, while Crossley grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was a longtime Oakland As fan.In Baltimore, hes devoted to the Orioles.And for several years now, to Flores.He is my partner and true love, Crossley says. The two say marriage is in their future.Flores is an amazing person with an incredible amount of love in his heart for me. He is loved by my adult sons, daughter-in-law, my other sons partner, and their families. Even my ex-wife and him get along quite well.He says I am a handsome guy! He is very beautiful, in a masculine way!Around this time last June, the two made it to Oriole Park on a balmy Maryland night for the teams annual show of LGBTQ+ support. We enjoy going to Oriole Park, and Pride Night is a wonderful chance for us to celebrate with the community, Crossley says.Flores was not a huge baseball fan until he started joining me for Orioles games, but now we are both die-hard fans, and we are happy to see them getting better. Its been a slow start for our Orioles! Its true. Theyre in last place in the American League East at 34-44.Tonight though, some of the same good vibrations that gave the Orioles a big win a year ago on Pride night might be in play: same team (the Texas Rangers), another Pride night (same gay vibes), and Crossley and Flores in the bleachers again (Well be there on June 25th!).Crossley credits the Orioles and, for the most part, MLB for being fantastic supporters of the LGBTQ+ community.
