Hate group says Ulta is funding the destruction of minors by selling products from nonbinary star
The anti-LGBTQ+ hate group, Family Research Council, is so enraged that cosmetics company Ulta Beauty is selling products from nonbinary reality star and hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness that it devoted an 800-word article to expressing this anger on its website.The piece slammed Ulta for its blatant refusal to back down from their undying support of the withering LGBTQ+ movement and accused Van Ness of making a mockery of women by acting excited in a product reveal video. This is not the first time Ulta has faced anger from the bigoted right for not being outwardly transphobic. In 2022, transphobes threatened to boycott the beauty brand after it published a 15-second video of trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney discussing her ambitions.Commenters accused the company of erasing womanhood and Mulvaney of doing womanface. The piece misgendered Mulvaney and referred to her as a biological male before adding that beauty brand Sephora is equally abandoning morality in general because it supports the Trevor Project.The Trevor Project is a mental health crisis hotline for LGBTQ+ youth that provides critical lifesaving services. Family Research Council called the organization abusive and said it was grooming children. Companies like Ulta and Sephora happily endorse and give copious amounts of money to groups like The Trevor Project to promote the transing of minors, while keeping it all hidden from their parents, Family Research Council wrote, proceeding to promote Christian-owned brands that dont support child mutilation, the phrase anti-trans conservatives use to refer to safe and age-appropriate gender-affirming care.Christians dont need to compromise their morals by funding perverted companies like Ulta and Sephora, Family Research Council concluded, adding that A single cent towards these companies helps to fund the mental and physical destruction of minors.Family Research Council is a Southern Poverty Law Center-designated hate group.
