With the highly anticipated ending of Netflix's hit show Heartstopper, fans are curious to see how Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) will wrap up their love story in the upcoming movie. Thankfully, an interesting piece of information about the upcoming Heartstopper film was shared in a VMan magazine cover story featuring Louis Partridge an actor who's also known for dating Olivia Rodrigo.Partridge, who was interviewed by Connor for VMan, got a glimpse of what fans can expect from his the Heartstopper character Nick in the highly anticipated film."I was doing rugby training today," Connor told Partridge. "[I'm always doing] some kind of throwing myself on the ground. We shot quite a steamy scene yesterday. So again, throwing myself on the ground in a different way." However, Alice Oseman author of the Heartstopper graphic novels revealed that the fans will be getting a different ending than they may be expecting.At the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Sunday, Oseman was asked about the upcoming film and the sixth and final volume of the film's source material being published later this year. "Weve just finished shooting the movie; it is based on volume six," they explained. "Its also based on the Nick and Charlie novella." See on Instagram It seems that the last volume of the book will see the story's main protagonists figure out life together as a couple during their last year in high school, and as Nick is getting ready to leave for college.Oseman told the crowd at the festival, "Well, in the film, I have found a different way to approach this problem, and so there is a point in the movie where we slightly diverge from the events of volume six, and it takes a slightly different path to get to the ending."
