Earlier this week, out MSNBC host Rachel Maddow called out three major attacks on democracy currently being perpetrated by the presidential administration. These attacks include Donald Trumps demand that Texas (and several other states) redraw its congressional map to gerrymander several additional Republican seats, establishing a pretext to deny the results of the 2026 election by saying that the Census shouldnt count, and ending mail-in voting. That last idea, Maddow stressed, Trump got from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
